Update

Our first lower school outreach project is underway! Thank you for already supplying so many non-perishable items! There is still time to donate. Details are here. Our fourthies will help deliver the cans to the St. Stephen's Food Pantry on Wednesday.

Our writing lab this week brought out a silly side! The fourthies learned about the eyebombing trend and had a little fun spreading the silliness.

Our reading/social studies time was spent diving into life during the Westward Expansion this week. We began reading Ranger in Time: Rescue on the Oregon Trail. This historical fiction book is about a rescue dog who follows alongside a family on their voyage out west. We practiced note taking during each chapter and recorded different notes about the time period as we read them!

During math, we are moving along through our multiplication and division unit. We reviewed different multiplication strategies when multiplying 2 and 3 digit numbers by 1.

The girls are bringing home a study guide for an upcoming music theory quiz. Mrs. Ivens let them know it will be on November 18th.
